Far away from The City: Reality TV star Olivia Palermo puckers up with model boyfriend as she shows off bikini in St Barts

She's the American socialite who gained notoriety as Whitney Port's frenemy on The Hills spin-off The City.

But despite being a model, actress and launching her own fashion line, 24-year-old Olivia Palermo managed to take some time out from her busy schedule to spend a romantic day at the beach with her German-born model boyfriend Johannes Huebl.

For the second day in a row, the pair soaked up the sunshine on the sand in millionaires' playground St Barts - with Olivia getting more than her fair share of rays due to her miniscule bikini.

The couple walked hand in hand as they strolled along the beach looking for a suitable spot to set down their towels.

Olivia showed of her slender physique in a tiny but bright purple and orange bikini while Johannes wore a pair of turquoise shorts.

The day before the couple had relaxed in the same spot and showed their clear affection for one another.

As they parked up on the secluded beach they shared a loving kiss and a cuddle with Johannes stealing a cheeky feel of his lady's bottom.

Acting the perfect gentlemen, or perhaps to catch a glimpse of Oliva’s rear view, the male model brushed off the sand from the back of her legs.

Once settled, Olivia removed her pink and white printed kaftan to reveal a svelte and sun-kissed figure.

She then positioned herself on her pink towel making the most of the sunshine in a dark bikini and began reading the December issue of Vanity Fair.

The fashionista recently revealed in Vogue’s Spanish magazine that she is starting her own fashion line and will have a forthcoming reality show focusing on her new venture.

Olivia is a red carpet regular and demonstrated her fabulous sense of style working as accessories Editor for Elle during her stint on The City.

Prior to appearing on the show Olivia was well-known in New York circles but has been propelled into the public eye on an international level through her appearance on the reality TV series.

The City, which was cancelled after two series, documented a group of girls working in the fashion industry in New York and saw Olivia as a fashion villain fighting with Whitney Port, who was working to make a name for herself as a fashion designer.

And although Olivia’s behaviour may have been questionable on the show her fashion sense never faltered.

The chic New Yorker is regularly found front row at fashion shows and she has already created a collection of necklaces in collaboration with Roberta Freymann.

Olivia is the daughter of real estate developer Douglas Palermo and interior designer Lynn Hutchings and grew up between the Upper East side in New York and Greenwich, Connecticut.
